It was near the end of this summer I met Jody and Cody for their engagement shoot prior to their wedding. It was a blast capturing this beautiful couple at 2 different locations and these fine images came out naturally and magically with help from the weather and lighting. Can't wait till their wedding next month. 

It's always fun to capture a joyful event with a lots of people in colorful costumes and traditional attires. This was one of the most colorful event I've had in 2017 so far. Here's some sneak peeks.

Every time I attend Nigerian events, it feels like I'm at a wedding.. with lots of food, music, colorful costumes, and rain of money lol.

It was a joyful day with perfect weather and lots of positive energy. From prep to reception, everything went so smooth and my camera was restlessly capturing this cute couple's most special day. I can't share all of the images I love, but here are some eye candies.

Enjoy some pictures from one of the most stylish engagement sessions of this year. 

A couple weeks ago, Abby and Mordecai had their maternity images taken. Due to rainy weather, we spent most of time in the studio which worked out nicely. Just a year ago, I took their engagement & wedding photos as they became newly weds and now it feels much different to capture them with a new addition in the womb. It is heartwarming to see and capture the family grow year after year. Big congrats to Abby and Mordecai. We shall see your baby soon!

Engagement session is a great prep shoot before the wedding as it helps clients to become familiar and comfortable with being in front of camera. It's also a great chance to find out their preferred picture styles. I had a blast 2 weeks ago photoshooting this couple in YXE. Within just over 2 hours, we successfully hit multiple spots and created nice images together. Saskatoon's evening sunset always offers great colors in the summertime for photos. We had our 5th Korean Music Night in Saskatoon on May 14, 2016. It is always enjoyable and amazing to witness and work with great talents in our community. The night was filled with eclectic music groups such as Saskatoon Korean Choir to a special guest group from Vancouver who played traditional Korean drums as well as a single-stringed Korean instrument known as "Haeguem" (해금).

Sometimes I take trips to clients' homes to take pictures of their family event, which is somewhat similar to the prep session of the wedding.
Every home is different and I have little time to find the best setting for shooting. After taking a few shots with different settings, I lock on my setting and start capturing the moments. It was this newborn child's special day as she was given her full name. As far as I can remember, the baby was sleeping through the entire session. I like how pictures turned out. The bright colors of the Nigerian costumes always add nice accents to the images I find. Congratulations Bro. Ola!
